Fiji 2012
| Overview Fiji is considered one of the most beautiful islands to visit. On weekends you will enjoy one of the pristine outer islands, swim in waterfalls and play on the beautiful beaches, all while interacting with one of the warmest and friendliest cultures of the world. To make the experience extra authentic, you will stay in a traditional “bure” (a thatch roof building) near the beach. Fiji faces many hygiene and health-related issues. This summer, you'll be working alongside villagers in the town of Nausori to add bathrooms to homes that are currently without plumbing, including flush toilet systems. Your efforts will help the people of Fiji reach a new standard of living. The involvement of great members of the LDS Church on the island is a bonus for everyone on the trip!
