Emperors New Groove IRL:Of the 10 million alpacas in the world, three-quarters of them live in Peru. There are over 3,000 different varieties of potato grown and 55 varieties of corn grown in Peru.
How did they build it??Machu Picchu, rediscovered in 1911, is one of the New 7 Wonders and is known as the “Lost City of the Incas”. The city was constructed of granite rocks weighing over 55 tons, using a technique called ashlar where rocks are perfectly fit so mortar isn’t needed.
A church membership boom:In 1988, 32 years after missionary work began in Peru, seven stakes were created in one weekend by a visiting Church Apostle, Elder M. Russell Ballard.
